The short film “The Cemetery Men”, directed by Ali Mardomi and produced by IYCS’s office in Urmia, won the Best International Film prize at the closing ceremony of 20th THAI Short Film & Video Festival. It was held during 20-28 of August in Center of Art & Culture in Bangkok.
“The Cemetery Men”, competed with films from France, Indonesia, Switzerland, Netherlands, Turkey, England, Belgium, Japan and Poland. “The Cemetery Men” was the only representative of Iran and won its very first international prize.
“THAI Short Film & Video Festival” has established in 1997 by The Thai Film Foundation, with the main role of supporting student short films and it has different competitive sections.
