33rd TISFF International Main Competition Introduction: VICENTA

Valencia began her career as a production assistant, making her debut as a director in 2006 with the short film “Restos”. She also behaved as an editor for several Chilean documentaries selected at the International Documentary Film Festival in Amsterdam in 2007. “Abuelos” was her first feature-length documentary, presented in 2010 in competition at IDFA official. Valencia has continued her way in directing with Emilia (2010) and Vicenta (2014).
