“Taratsa International Film Festival” Gave its Best Screenplay Award to “Hasti”

Taratsa is an independent international short film festival based in Thessaloniki, Greece. It began on August 2014 with the purpose of creating a framework for the promotion of independent short films.

This year during 24-28. August, 70 films compete for the following awards: Best Movie, Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Cinematography, Best Editing & Audience Award.

In a ceremony that took place on August 28th, the Jury of the 3rd Taratsa International Film Festival announced this year’s winners. According to that announcement, the short film “Hasti” directed by Kamal Parnak & produced by IYCS, received the Best Screenplay Award of the festival.

Hasti is a story about a little girl whose mother’s death becomes the starting point of an inner journey, which leads her to perceive the death concept.
