Tehran International Short Film Festival in Cooperation with German Embassy
IYCS was the host of a cultural meeting between the German Embassy in Tehran and the TISFF last week.

The cultural counselor of Germany in Iran, Mr. Rainer Buthz was accompanied by Ms. Ghorbani the Supervisor of Cultural Affairs of the Embassy in this meeting.

Mr. FarkhondehKish the Head of TISFF and Managing Director of IYCS, hosted this meeting with his Cultural Consultant Mr. Affarideh. Director of International Section of TISFF, Mr. Dezvareh had a brief summary on the festival. According to the statistics, Germany has the second rank of film submission to TISFF with 635 films. This high rate of participation surprised the German Counselor.

During this meeting both parties agreed on mutual cooperation in relation to 33rd edition of TISFF. The agreed issues are: Considering a special German Short Films Screening Program in TISFF, holding workshops with German filmmakers & professors and Having German jury members in TISFF
