1.Tell us about your movie, where did the idea of this movie come from?
I found a connection between an old photograph of an unknown author and a poem from the 17th century written by the poet Tukaram, which was read by Samaneri Jayasara in a beautiful and profound way:
“I have found the sea,
An ocean limitless.
I have opened a treasury unending,
Its jewels blaze with the luster of a thousand thousand suns,
And they blaze here, in my soul.
Of a sudden,
Without any effort of mine own,
I have heard the eternal Secret,
I have learned to know God.
Here in my life hath blossomed
The flower of perfect union”.
2.Tell us about yourself, your education, your experience. We would like to know you better.
Through a variety of media my work explored possibility for creativity out of silence and emptiness of heart. Before creating art, I have to be so humble, almost nobody, a hollow bamboo. In this absence, there comes a great universal flood. That flood can become poetry, a painting, music, a dance, a sculpture. Thousands of dimensions are available, I just trying allow it, simply allow it the universe to flow through me.
