His films have been screened in over 470 domestic and international festivals and has won over 160 awards from them. He has also served as a Cinema teacher and Jury in different domestic and international festivals.

Born in Tehran, 1988. Master of Fine Art, Major in Film, San Francisco Art Institute, California, 2013. Bachelor of Fine Arts, Major in Scriptwriting, Art University of Tehran, 2010. Member of Short Film Association of Iran Since 2013 Producer, director and screenwriter of 10 short films such as: “White dwarfs”, Iran 2020, “Reverence (Curtain call)”, Iran 2018, “The carrots”, San Francisco 2013 and “Still...”, Iran 2012 She also has had the experience of being in 15 Theater and short films as an actress since 2002. Her latest released short film “Reverence (Curtain call)” was world premiered in Oscar qualifying Santa Barbara international film festival, California 2019, and was the winner of best directing and cinematography of Tehran international short film festival, 2018.

Hamed Soleimanzadeh

Born in 1987 in Mashhad. He is a film critic, author, and a university professor. Holding PH degree in Art Research and Film studies he is now the official member of International Federation of Film Critics (FIPRESCI), European Children’s Film Association (ECFA) and Iranian Short Film Association (ISFA). So far, he has been among the selection committee and jury members of many national and international film festivals like Isfahan International Film Festival for Children & Youth, Seoul guro Youth Film Festival, Dytiatko International Children Media Festival in Ukraine, Kazan International Youth Film Festival, Zero Plus Film Festival in Russia and Hero and Time Film Festival again in Russia. He was the head of international department of 31st International Film Festival for Children and Youth as well as 31st Iran International Academic Theatre Festival. “Daily Deliriums of the Sleeping Man” & “ACinema in Iran: Sohrab Shahid Cinema” are among his writings published by Dibaye Publications and Tehran University, respectively. He is now in charge of research department of international affairs of Farabi Cinema Foundation.

Writer, director, and editor: Younes short fiction films (2019), The passage of the rabbit (2003) and four-part documentary series “A porch to watch” (2013). Awards: Statue for the best director and the best editing from the 64th Regional Festival of Young Cinema (Asoric), Special award and commendation plaque for the best director of the first period of national short film festival of villages and nomads in Iran, nominated for the best feature film at the 8th National Prayer Festival for the short film “Younes”. Born in 1974. He has written and directed ten short films and four documentaries. He worked as casting director for Veit Helmer the German filmmaker. He has also been the writer and assistant director of several projects. He teaches cinema at the Iranian Young Cinema Society. He used to be a member of the Iranian Short Film Association Board of Directors (2010 – 2015(. He has been the member of jury and film selection committee in several festivals.

Behnam Behzadi

Born in 1972, he started his career as a photographer and theater player at the age of 15. He graduated from the Faculty of Cinema and TV in Tehran with a BA degree in filmmaking. He has made more than 20 films including shorts, TV movies and documentaries, some of which won various awards in international film festivals, including his first feature, “Before the Burial” in 2008. “Bending the Rules” won Special Jury Prize in Tokyo IFF, Audience Award in Nantes, and Special Prize in Mannheim in 2013.His third feature, “Inversion” was in “Un Certain Regards” of Cannes 2016 and more than other 25 festivals.

Kyeongyeon Kim studied film at university and has been working at various film festivals. She served as a committee member of the Busan Independent Film Association and taught cinema to students as cinema teacher at Korea Arts & Culture Education Service. She worked as a program manager at the Busan International Short Film Festival from 2012 to 2018 and is currently a programmer at the Busan International Short Film Festival.

She was received the Golden Lion for Peace 2017 in Venice. She directed 40 documentaries all over the world; she won several awards for her films. She is appointed as Representative of Religions for Peace at FAO -UN. She was the artistic director at Vatican Pavilion at Expo Milan 2015, which was awarded as the Pavilion which best developed the theme, and she was the artistic director for the photographic exhibition in Expo Astana 2017, Kazakhstan. In 1997 she founded Religion Today Film Festival, the first festival about inter-religious dialogue. She founded the group Women of Faith for Peace in Jerusalem. She wrote 5 books. She is the CEO of the production company Aurora Vision, advisor for Dhaka Film Festival Bangladesh and honorary member of the House of Wisdom, Grenada

Pouria Zolfaghari

Born in 1983. Borujerd. He took theater and filmmaking courses in 2007 at Samandarian School under the supervision of Hamid Samandarian and Mehdi Fakhimzadeh and made her first short films in the same period. In 2011, he became a member of the editorial board of Film Monthly and began to write reviews and cinematic contents in this magazine and several other publications. Simultaneously with his journalistic activity in the field of cinema, he continued to make short films, and made the short fiction films: “Sarsam”, “Garden of Mirror” and “Pause”.

Cinematographer, filmmaker, teacher and graduate of BA in Cinema from Art University in Tehran, MFA in Film Production from York University in Canada, a Ph.D. candidate in Babelsberg University in Germany. Rozette teaches film, had several workshops, and talks in Canadian and American universities, i.e., York university, University of Toronto, University of Windsor, Colgate university in central New York. Rozette has shot more than 300 films around the globe.

Born in 1988. Kashan, filmmaker. He is a lecturer at the Iranian youth cinema society and a member of Cinema House Directors Guild. In the field of writing and directing works such as “Sheikh Ali”, “Life may be this”, “Wounds”, “All half of me”, “Customer” and “Dear” are among his works. He is also a member of the selection committee of the first Iranian adolescent’s filmmaking Olympiad Festival, and a member of the jury of the ninth film and photo week of the Iranian youth cinema society(Kashan office), director of the education committee of the 59th Regional Festival of Iranian youth cinema, judge of the script section of the 59th Regional Festival of Iranian youth cinema, member of the specialized production council [Peaching] of the Iranian youth cinema society - Isfahan Province. Among his honors is the honorary diploma for the best film from the 48th Dena Youth Cinema Regional Film Festival, the honorary diploma for the best director from the 8th Parvin Etesami National Film Festival, the honorary diploma for the best director from the 52nd Arvand Regional Youth Cinema Festival, statue and diploma of honor for best director from directors guild association(Iranian documentary cinema), statue and diploma of honor for the best film, best director, best actor, best film sound and honorary plaque of art and experience from the 36th Tehran International Short Film Festival and participation in the competition section of the 38th Fajr National Film Festival.

Ali Derakhshandeh

Born in September 1984, Tehran. Graduated from the field of filmmaking (cinema directing). He started the artistic activity in professional cinema in 1999. He has collaborated in more than 30 films and series as an assistant director, director of planning, production, and casting. He has made more than 10 short films and one feature film. He is also a member of the planners’ association and cinema assistant directors and a member of the cinema house short film association. The movie “ Enemies”, “Three-Point” short films, “Amas(Inflammation)”, “just as easily1(Be Hamin Sadegi1),” just as easily2(Be Hamin Sadegi 2), “fall(Soghoot)”, “Wane (Mohagh)”, “ Be patient”, “ Snowball” short experimental film, “The pond of friendship”(70-episode series for children and teenagers), the empirical documentary “Elf on popular culture”, “David’s” experimental documentary and the documentary “The Breasts of the Earth” are among her works. With his works, Derakhshandeh has succeeded in participating in festivals such as Italian Cinema Damare, Reedi Phils America, Iranian Cinema House Festival, Tehran Short Film Festival, German exground, Calcutta( India), Istanbul (Turkey) for the film Amas (2015), Indie Fest( USA) and Fajr Film Festival. His other honors include receiving the best film and the best director award from the Italian Film Festival (Damare), the best director award at the American Film Festival (Rizi Phils) and being nominated for numerous awards at various festivals.

Massoud Madadi

Born in 1963. He has a bachelor’s degree in cinema (directing) and a master’s degree (dramatic literature) from Tehran university of art. He is a cinema lecturer at the university of art and Soore. He is the supervisor of graduate projects for students and a member of the Cinema House Teachers Association. Other activities include the translation of Marcie Begleiter book “From Word to Image” and Wendy Tumminello’s book “Exploring Storyboarding” (Design Concepts). Responsible for the international section of Varahanar cinema company and global sales of films and participation in numerous international festivals, member of the higher education council of the culture and education deputy of the Iranian youth cinema society, designing the topic and writing the course of the empirical cinema workshop for the sevenmonth filmmaking course, membership in the screen review council in some production centers, member of the selection and judging panel of some short and feature film festivals. Madadi started his filmmaking career at Ahwaz youth cinema society in the second half of the 1960s and directed several short fiction films, including “On Hot Asphalt”, “Privacy”, Mask”, and wrote the screenplay and directed the feature film “Forgetfulness”, “Gita” and wrote the screenplay “Graffiti”, “Woman Without Woman”, “ Dust” and other works.

Mahtab Ebrahimzadeh

Born in1970, Bushehr. After completing his bachelor’s degree in English translation in 1991, he participated in photography and filmmaking by participating in the training courses of Bushehr Youth Cinema Society. Her first short film “B Like Rain” won first place at the Bruno Film Festival in the Czech Republic. At the same time, her photographs were successfully presented at domestic festivals. In 1996, he went to Germany to study cinema and studied film directing at the Higher University of Arts in Kassel. During her studies, with the financial support of German government producers, she won a € 23,000 prize for her dissertation screenplay. Her dissertation film Herbstzeitlose has participated in prestigious festivals and won awards. She attended in specialized screenwriting courses at the Freiburg Screenwriting Camp, as well as a supplementary screenwriting course in Berlin. Born in 1969, Ahvaz. Director, director of photography, and documentary filmmaker. After a short period of acting in the theater, He began her filmmaking career in 1985 by attending the Iranian youth cinema society - Najafabad office; then in 1988 he entered the faculty of cinema and theater of Tehran university of art and completed his studies in the field of cinema directing. He started making short fiction films in 1994 and has been working as a cinematographer in Iranian cinema since 2004. In addition to filming, He has also made several short and feature documentaries.He is also a member of the founding board of the Iranian Short Film Association at the Cinema House.The presence of one of her short films called “A Little Above” among the ten films in the short film competition section of the Berlin International Film Festival in 2006, is considered as one of the honors of Iranian short films. He has directed the films “23 People”, “Atmosphere Station”, “Role and Painter” and more than 10 short films and documentaries. Special Award of the Jury of the Turin Festival – Italy, Award for the best experimental short film from Tehran Short Film Festival, the award for The best short film from Cinema House celebration for “Little” film, the award for the best short film from Didar Festival(Tajikistan), the award for the best short film from Kabul Human Rights Festival, the award for the best documentary at the Cyprus Film Festival, Simin award for the best short film from the International Section of Roshd Film Festival, Francisco García award from the Huesca Festival, Spain, martyr Avini grand prize from cinema verité Film Festival, twice nominated for Crystal Simorgh for the best cinematography, and the honorary diploma of children and adolescent Film Festival (Schlingel Germany) are among his honors.

Born in 1986. Tehran. He is an Author, director, and film maker of Animation. he is founder and chief executive of Hoorakhsh studios. He has Graduated from BA degree of graphic design and MA degree in illustration. Since 2000 he has started his professional career in SABA Animation center, and in 2008 he established his own animation production studio, Hoorakhsh. He is also a member of ASIFA Hollywood. The animated film “The Last Story”, which has won 15 national and international awards and been shown in more than 32 countries, is his first feature film. This animation also participated in the 2020 Oscar competition as a representative of Iran and was shown for the first time in the most important animation festival, the International Annecy Festival in France in the non-competitive section. Rahgazar has made more than 20 titles of short animations, music videos, animation collections and advertising teasers.
