5050 short films have been submitted to the 35th Tehran International Short Film Festival.
According to the Director of International Affairs of the Iranian Youth Cinema Society, Mohammad Fahimi, five hundred and fifty short films from 120 countries have been submitted to Tehran International Short Film Festival, 38 percent of which are fiction films, 20% experimental films, 17% documentaries, 15% animation and 10% of the films are video-art.
“The films were mainly received through the three platforms of “Short Film Depot”, “Click for Festivals” and “Film Freeway”,” he said.
Fahimi, Artistic Director of Tehran International Short Film Festival, pointed out that France, America, India, Spain, Italy, Germany, Brazil, the United Kingdom, Russia and Turkey have submitted the greatest number of films respectively.
The thirty-fifth edition of International Short Film Festival will be held from 9 to 13 November 2018.
